2 c Self-rising corn meal
1 Egg
1 tb Mayonnaise
Salt
Buttermilk
Oil for frying
Combine ingredients, except buttermilk and oil, adding enough buttermilk to
make a stiff batter. Drop by spoonful into hot oil to brown.
