Easy Apple Torte

Ingredients & Directions


4 tb Soft butter
1 Egg
1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Sugar
1/4 ts Baking soda
1 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/8 ts Salt
3 Peeled and cored apples of
-your choice (cut into 1/8″
-slices)

Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 9″ cake pan. Cream together sugar and
butter. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, cinnamon,
baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Mix the dry ingredients into
the wet ingredients. Stir in apple pieces. Turn into pan and spread
smoothly. Bake for one hour and allow to cool for a few minutes and serve
warm.
