Ingredients & Directions


1 c Brown sugar 1 c White sugar
1 1/2 c Shortening 2 tb Vinegar
1 ts Soda 1 ts Maple flavoring
2 Eggs, beaten 1 c Chopped nuts
4 1/2 c Flour

Cream shortening and sugars well. Add flavoring, vinegar, and eggs.
Add flour, mix well. Roll in balls. Press flat with hand. Bake at
350 degrees until lightly browned.
